The Delatite Drivers Car Club origins can be traced to friendly discussion over a few beers and a central concern over the lack of a dedicated local club for enthusiasts to join, associated with registering their cars on the Club Permit Scheme.  So, after several afternoons of toing and froing, we put the foot down and decided to go for it - 6 of us got together and started the DDCC in Dec 2013. Conservatively we anticipated around 30 members. Since then,  the club has grown to nearly 200 members with a very impressive vehicle line-up.  The number of member cars is now in excess of 100. The club has never been a 'one-make' club and as it stands, we have examples from the 1930's to modern vehicles, featuring all makes and also some motor bikes...
